I received my undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Reed College, Ph.D. in Chemistry from Harvard University followed by Postdoctoral training at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

My research is focused on creating compounds for controlling biological processes. Our chemical research spans probe compound synthesis, answering fundamental questions in biology, to the advancement of small molecules through the preclinical drug development process. In collaboration with the Core Faculty and Affiliated Members of the CDIPD we access, develop and understanding of, and optimize compounds for the treatment of neglected disease. Through chemical synthesis we provide pivotal components in the drug discovery and development process.
