I am an undergraduate UCSD student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. At CDIPD, the center of my research is the symbiotic relationship between Entamoeba histolytica and host cells. My main goal is to identify compounds that modify and influence symbiotic relationships between hosts and parasites.

Currently, I am a student under the mentorship of Anjan Debnath in the Faculty Mentorship Program (FMP) and Frontiers of Innovation Scholars Program (FISP) for the years 2017-2018.
